SHADOWS FALL: 'The Art Of Touring' DVD Due In November
September 29, 2005Century Media Records has set a November 15 release date for SHADOWS FALL's "The Art of Touring" DVD, the group's first-ever DVD release. "The Art of Touring" features over two hours of on-the-road antics and live performances filmed from 2002 through 2004 on "The Art of Balance" album touring cycle while on the road in the U.S., Europe and Japan. Also featured here are all six of the band's promotional videos to date from "Thoughts Without Words" to "Idiot Box" to "Inspiration On Demand". Several guest appearances, rare cover songs and a special tribute to Darrell "Dimebag" Abbott (filmed during SHADOWS FALL's tour with DAMAGEPLAN in the fall of 2004) round out the DVD.
In other news, SHADOWS FALL frontman Brian Fair will be this week's "Headbangers Ball" special host on Saturday, October 1 interviewing UNDEROATH, so be sure to tune in to MTV2 at 10 p.m. EST/7 p.m. PST. The group also recently shot a video for the track "Enlightened by the Cold" with longtime director Zach Merck (12 STONES, ATREYU). The clip portrays what a day in the life with SHADOWS FALL is like on Ozzfest and it is tentatively set to make its Fuse and MTV2 debut late next month.
SHADOWS FALL's latest album, "The War Within", originally debuted at #20 on The Billboard Top 200 chart and it is quickly approaching 250,000 units sold in just under a year's time, led by the strength of the Active Rock hits "What Drives The Weak" and "Inspiration On Demand".
